Wear-resistant rollers: Case study of a copier manufacturer
Introducing the results where using polyurethane foam has not changed the μ and the delivery accuracy has not decreased.
On this homepage, we introduce our achievements in solving the challenges faced by copier manufacturers. When using general synthetic rubber for the paper feed rollers of copiers, the evaporation of oil causes changes in the coefficient of friction (μ), making it impossible to achieve consistent paper feeding. Therefore, by using foam urethane produced through our unique method called "independent bubble foaming," we have ensured that there is no change in μ even after long-term use, maintaining feeding accuracy. Please take a look at our company website. 【Overview of Achievements】 ■Challenges - Changes in the coefficient of friction (μ) ■Solutions - By using foam urethane, feeding accuracy is maintained even after long-term use - Developed rollers made of Somar urethane that do not decrease in wear resistance along with feeding accuracy *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
